Re-Cycle Volunteer Program, $5,000
The Community Bike Hub is a social enterprise that saves bikes from landfill and promotes cycling in Melbourne’s west. We rescue bikes from landfill, fostering a circular economy by refurbishing them through our volunteer program at Mills Close in Footscray. This program provides an inclusive space for volunteers to learn practical skills and connect with others while contributing to a sustainable future.

Painting a Colourful History, $5,000
Seaholme Kindergarten is applying for funding to recreate a commemorative mural that honours the kindergarten’s more than 60 year history and deep community roots.
Originally painted by local artist Kerrie Gottliebsen to mark the centre’s 40th anniversary, the mural was sadly lost when the old building was demolished in 2023. This project will see the mural lovingly reimagined on a portable board, ensuring it can be preserved and proudly displayed on the new building for generations to come.
