Multi-factor authentication has been introduced to Property Plus
To help keep customer and property information secure, we've introduced multi-factor authentication to Property Plus.
Multi-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security by requiring a verification code in addition to your password when you sign in.
When you register for Property Plus, you'll need to set up multi-factor authentication using either a mobile phone (SMS) or an authenticator app.
Existing Property Plus users
You can continue using Property Plus with your existing username and password.
The first time you sign in after multi-factor authentication is introduced; you’ll need to complete a quick one-time setup. You'll be asked to choose a second way to verify your identity, such as:
a mobile phone number to receive a verification code, or
an authenticator app on your mobile device.
After you've completed the setup, you'll need to use multi-factor authentication each time you sign in to Property Plus.
If you currently share a Property Plus login, you'll need to create your own individual login so you can set up and use multi-factor authentication.
Can I use Property Plus as a guest?
No. You'll need an individual Property Plus login to submit applications and make bookings. You will need to set up multi-factor authentication to help keep your information secure.
You'll need to set up multi-factor authentication before registering for Property Plus.
Multi-factor authentication keeps your account secure by verifying your identity when you sign in. During setup, you'll need access to your email address and either your mobile phone or an authenticator app. Learn more about multi-factor authentication.
Once you've set up multi-factor authentication, complete the Property Plus registration form and submit your application. We'll review your request and send you a confirmation email once it's approved, including any next steps.
Multi-factor authentication is an extra layer of security that helps protect your Property Plus account.
Multi-factor authentication requires two forms of verification when you sign in:
Something you know, such as your password, and
Something you have, such as a unique verification code sent to your mobile phone or generated by an authenticator app.
This helps reduce the risk of unauthorised access to your account and information.
Property Plus stores customer and property-related information. To help protect this information, we're improving security across our digital services as part of a broader enterprise security program.
Introducing multi-factor authentication is one of the ways we're strengthening security and helping to keep customer information safe.
No. If you've already set up multi-factor authentication using the same email address for another GWW online service, you can use your existing setup and continue with the registration process.
Your existing applications and bookings won't be affected.
You'll continue to have access to your current Property Plus applications, bookings and account information after multi-factor authentication has been set up.
To improve account security, Property Plus accounts should be linked to an individual user and a unique multi-factor authentication method.
If multiple people in your business need access to Property Plus, each person should create and use their own login. This allows each user to securely verify their identity when signing in using their own mobile number or authenticator app.
People in your business can still access and manage the same applications and bookings using their individual logins.
Once you’ve set up your multi-factor authenticated login and completed your Property Plus registration, our team will review the request and link your login to the appropriate account. In some cases, we may contact the key person on the account to confirm access before the request is approved. Please include as many business details as possible (ie company name, ABN, company address).
You don't need a work mobile phone to set up multi-factor authentication. You can choose from a range of authentication methods, including apps on mobile devices or tablets, browser extensions and desktop applications.
We recommend using an authenticator app if you need to access Property Plus overseas. Once set up, you can use it to verify your identity when signing in.
Service fees and charges are updated in line with Greater Western Water's approved pricing and regulatory requirements.
You can view current fees and charges on our prices we charge page.
