Maree Lang
Managing Director
Maree was appointed as our inaugural Managing Director for 1 July 2021. Maree has extensive executive-level experience across government, manufacturing and the utilities industries. She was the Managing Director of City West Water before her current appointment as Greater Western Water’s Managing Director. In 2018, IPAA Victoria acknowledged Maree’s leadership accomplishments in their Top 50 Women in the Public Sector list.
Kessia Thomson
General Manager, Strategy and Partnerships
Kessia leads Greater Western Water’s overarching strategy. With a focus on providing exceptional service and putting the community first, Kessia is responsible for delivering our corporate plan, our asset-management plans, and our pricing submission.
Amanda Smith
General Manager, Growth and Infrastructure
Amanda leads Greater Western Water’s maintenance and growth in the fast-growing Melbourne regions we service. With a strong focus on results and accountability, Amanda has been successfully leading teams through significant restructures and changes across the utilities sector for over a decade. In 2019, IPAA Victoria acknowledged Amanda’s leadership accomplishments in their Top 50 Women in the Public Sector list.
Jodie Hallam
General Manager, Operations and Delivery Solutions
Jodie leads the efficient and effective operation and maintenance of our assets, delivering high quality water and recycled water services to our customers. Jodie has over 15 years of executive management experience in the energy and water sector. With a strong focus on strategy and execution, Jodie is driven by a curiosity to learn and is passionate about innovation. Now a part of Greater Western Water, Jodie will continue to drive positive customer-service outcomes for the businesses and communities in our service area.
Rohan Charrett
General Manager, Customer Experience
Rohan leads our customer experience streams across our major contact channels, including a multi-faceted contact centre, face-to-face engagement, digital services, and our credit and support programs. With decades of leadership experience in the utilities and telco sectors, Rohan also holds an MBA from Deakin University.
Jennifer Rebeiro
Chief Transformation Officer
Jennifer leads all aspects of information technology at Greater Western Water, which includes developing and implementing our digital journey. She has almost a decade of executive-level management experience and has worked in a number of industries, including transport, banking and finance, and the utilities.
Louise Meadows
Chief People Officer
Louise leads all aspects of human resources, organisational development, and employee experience and communications at Greater Western Water. Her role involves developing and implementing strategy and initiatives that align our staff with broader business objectives and focuses on enduring cultural change. She brings leadership experience across different sectors, including utilities and banking, both in Australia and abroad.
Michael Wootten
Chief Operating Officer
Michael has extensive senior-management experience in government, with a depth of experience in building and leading teams through change initiatives. Michael provides oversight of Financial Services, Risk & Resilience, Legal & Governance, Procurement and Technology, Security and Property.
