Craig was appointed Acting Managing Director of Greater Western Water on 28 July 2025. He brings extensive executive-level experience across utilities, industrial and fast-moving consumer goods sectors. Craig brings with him a track record of leading major business transformations, complex projects and operational excellence initiatives, and is highly experienced navigating complex stakeholder environments. He is strongly focused on delivering improved customer outcomes and leading positive change for Country, customers and communities.
Kessia Thomson
General Manager, Strategy and Partnerships
Kessia leads Greater Western Water’s overarching strategy. With a focus on providing exceptional service and putting the community first, Kessia is responsible for delivering our corporate plan, our asset-management plans, and our pricing submission.
Ian Burton
General Manager, Growth and Infrastructure
Ian leads Greater Western Water’s maintenance and growth in the rapidly growing regions of Melbourne that we service. With nearly three decades of experience spanning local and international projects, Ian has delivered projects across a wide variety of industries, including transport, corporate real estate, and education. Ian is dedicated to driving innovation and sustainability to benefit our customers and communities.
Jodie Hallam
General Manager, Service Delivery
Jodie leads the efficient and effective operation and maintenance of our assets, delivering high quality water and recycled water services to our customers. Jodie has over 15 years of executive management experience in the energy and water sector. With a strong focus on strategy and execution, Jodie is driven by a curiosity to learn and is passionate about innovation. Now a part of Greater Western Water, Jodie will continue to drive positive customer-service outcomes for the businesses and communities in our service area.
Terence Alvares
General Manager, Customer Experience
Terence leads our customer experience streams across our major contact channels, including a multi-faceted contact centre, face-to-face engagement, digital services, billing and our credit and support program. Terence brings decades of experience leading high-performing teams with a continuous improvement culture to enhance customer experiences at scale across utilities, telecommunications and health insurance organisations.
Louise Meadows
Chief People Officer
Louise leads all aspects of human resources, organisational development, health safety & wellbeing, transformation, change and employee experience at Greater Western Water. Her role involves developing and implementing strategy and initiatives that align our staff with broader business objectives and focuses on enduring cultural change.
She brings leadership experience across different sectors, including utilities and banking, both in Australia and abroad.
Kim Murray
Chief Operating Officer
Kim leads the business services group which oversees the finance, information technology & digital, procurement & property, legal and risk functions of the business. Kim has more than 30 years’ experience in senior financial and commercial management roles in the transport, financial services, and telecommunication sector. Kim has been instrumental in the success of a number of large transformation projects that covered both business optimisation and technology modernisation.
