Community Reach Out Days (RODs) will distribute critical material aid through a pop-up op shop model, offering clothing, shoes, toiletries, homewares, and kitchenware. Local service providers will be invited to share information and local resources.
While WWW will partially fund RODs, additional investment is needed to support project management, venue hire, transport logistics, and coordination. We will host three RODs in Melton, Brimbank, and Wyndham LGAs. These events aim to assist refugees, asylum seekers, and those in extreme need by providing access to quality donated items and fostering connections with local services.
West Welcome Wagon have received funding for its Community Reach Out Days.
