NAIDOC (National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee) celebrates and recognises the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC week is held in July and gives all Australians an opportunity to learn about First Nations Cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth.
The Western Metro NAIDOC Ball invites the community from seven local government areas to come together, meet new people and celebrate at the end of NAIDOC week.
