We're installing three new water mains will supply safe and reliable water services now and into the future.
Project Overview
As Melton continues to grow, particularly in Melton South, Greater Western Water is returning to replace the interim water supply solution put in place to manage the risk of low water pressure during peak times.
We’re installing three new permanent underground water pipelines between Rees and Exford Roads, along Exford Road, and along Bridge Road.
The new pipelines will improve water pressure during peak demand and ensure Greater Western Water can continue to provide safe and reliable water services now and into the future, supporting the growing needs of the Melton South community.
This project is being delivered by JAYDO on behalf of Greater Western Water.
Why the project is needed
To replace the interim above ground pipeline installed in December 2024 with a long term, reliable water supply solution. It will ensure there is safe and reliable water supply now and into the future.
