“Outdoors for All” is an inclusive camping experience designed to support LGBTQIA+ individuals—particularly those who face barriers to accessing outdoor spaces—to connect with nature, build confidence, and foster community belonging.
The program will deliver a facilitated weekend camping event in a safe, welcoming environment, with a focus on first-time campers and those who may feel excluded from traditional outdoor spaces. Activities will include guided nature walks, group connection sessions, basic camping skills, and shared meals.
By reducing financial, social, and confidence barriers, the project aims to create equitable access to outdoor experiences while strengthening community connection and wellbeing.
The event will be delivered within GWW’s service area and is expected to engage a diverse group of participants, including trans and gender diverse individuals and culturally diverse communities.
