Pinkerton Link Wildlife Corridor Weed Control, $5,000
Pinkerton Landcare and Environment Group (PLEG) is planning to concentrate on eradication of noxious and invasive weeds from the Pinkerton Link Wildlife Corridor, to encourage the growth of indigenous flora which in turn will preserve habitat for our indigenous fauna. Much of the area's flora and fauna is endangered in the area due to increased urbanisation and decreasing habitat. The project addresses an urgent need to maintain and expand the diversity we have.
