Customer Care Days bring face-to-face support to communities across Melbourne's west
6 November 2026
Greater Western Water (GWW) is continuing its face-to-face customer support program across Melbourne's west across November and December, with a series of Customer Care Days designed to help customers access information, support services and account assistance closer to home.
The sessions will be held in Romsey, Altona, Werribee, Carlton and Melton, giving customers the opportunity to speak directly with GWW staff about payment plans, grants, concessions and support available if they're experiencing financial hardship. Customers can also receive help understanding their water bill and ask questions about their account.
GWW will also participate in local Bring Your Bills days in West Sunshine on 19 November and in Ascot Vale on 4 December.
GWW General Manager Customer Experience, Margaret Watson, said the Customer Care Days provide a valuable opportunity for customers to connect directly with staff and receive personalised support.
"We know that every customer's situation is different, and sometimes having a face-to-face conversation can make it easier to get the information and support you need," Ms Watson said.
"Our Customer Care Days are about making support more accessible and ensuring customers feel confident about the assistance available to them," she said.
Recent attendees have praised the sessions for providing a more personal and effective way to access support.
"We saw the Customer Care Days online and decided it was the best form of communication for us," attendee Lina, said.
"I received all of the answers to all of the questions that I asked," another customer Laurie, said.
"Face-to-face interactions are so important. It is much easier to deal with and resolve issues. I do not like calling on the phone, you don't know how to gauge the interaction. I find it calming to be in person rather than digitally," Laurie continued.
