Greater Western Water continues its Customer Care Days this October

Greater Western Water (GWW) is continuing its face-to-face customer support program across Melbourne's west this October, with a series of Customer Care Days designed to help customers access information, support services and account assistance closer to home.
Sessions will be held across Wyndham City Council, Brimbank City Council and the City of Melbourne and provides customers with the opportunity to speak directly with GWW staff about payment plans, grants, concessions or receive further help in understanding their bill.
Greater Western Water General Manager Customer Experience, Margaret Watson, said the Customer Care Days reflect GWW's commitment to supporting customers and making assistance more accessible.
"We’re hosting Customer Care Days across a range of locations and community hubs throughout our service region, because we know our community comes from all walks of life, cultures and backgrounds,” Ms Watson said.
“It’s important to us that customers have access to in-person support for their bills, payment options, and available concessions and grants, so we can meet them where they are and provide the help they need.”
Customer Assist Consultant Anjana, who recently hosted a Customer Care Day in Flemington, said the events provide an important opportunity to support customers and strengthen community connections.
"Being a Customer Assist Consultant is about more than answering questions. It's about building trust, showing empathy, and helping customers feel heard and supported," Anjana said.
"Customer Care Days remind me of the privilege of assisting customers through both simple and complex situations. Every interaction is an opportunity to create a positive impact, and that's what makes this role so meaningful."
"It's about supporting customers every day by listening, problem-solving, and helping them find the right solutions. Every conversation is a chance to make someone's day a little easier," she said.
Customers are encouraged to make a booking to guarantee a time slot but walk‑ins are welcome.
