WalkWest 2026 is a community walking and running event that brings together local residents, businesses, schools, sporting clubs, Western Health staff, corporate sponsors, volunteers and donors for a day of fun, connection, wellbeing and fundraising.
This program runs educational and community engagement programs that combine habitat care, Indigenous culture and knowledge with freshwater and marine science. The program will increase the level of community care and improve the health of the Kororoit Creek catchment across the Brimbank and Hobsons Bay areas.
The Romsey Neighbourhood House has a purpose-built support trailer, which needs an upgrade. The trailer supports semi-rural communities, in areas prone to natural disasters, like floods. In an emergency, the crisis support trailer provides power and other essential services, particularly when locals need to evacuate from their homes.
